the weeks we were

'twas another night of pomp, glamour and glitz. premiere men's guide magazine UNO kicked-off another shebang for testosterone-filled hombres to feast on---the 100 sexiest ladies of UNO held at Rcokwell.

"syet, dami magaganda tao," i mused. earlier, my driver cum best friend errol told me na the party would strictly enforce the "no denims, collared tops only" policy to avoid the so-called "rugged and jologs" looks among pipol. for short, the "pangday op" look. nakow. eh pagdating dun eh dami naman naka chuck taylors and other sneakers, denims (ung iba naka "Used" na acid wash na maongskis), RL polo shirts and other retro muscle shirts. even my kumpareng borgy manotoc and her biatch ordussa were not spared from the gear.

as usual, kung ano dinami ng chiching eh ganun din binaha ng alak. from the erbi to the cocktail drinks. ung mga hard drinks tinira na ng mga pa-sosyal na mga models dun and their social-climbing tropas. syempre, makapayarihan din kame sa pag-access ng mga booze c/o our main man Raffy, whose wife Jaimie happens to be the of the had honchos (senior sales manager) of UNO. thanks yah guys!

as far as my alcohol-infested brains cells could remember, ilan sa mga andun na nasa list ng 100 sexiest ladies na andun ay sina: joey mead, tanya garcia, cheska garcia (na nakita ko din ung utol na si patrick na ksama ata tropang taga UMD), karel marquez, phoem barranda (na hindi naman mukhang bangag at that time), nicole hernandez (na number 1 sa list), at napakadami pang iba na foreign-sounding names na nuknukan naman ng ganda. hayy!!!

at kaya pagdating sa bahay ginawa ko na naman ang inaasahan pag ako'y mag-isa sa aking kwarto pag nangungulila sa haplos ni maria---ang matulog. pagod na ko, eh.

the week after, walang-kaabog eh may natanggap akong text mula sa aking dating opismeyt na si chai. papsyat daw sya dahil bday nya. at naikasa naman at naging masaya ang okasyon sa quatro sa timog. tulad ng sa UNO mag gig, bumaha ng alak, ung mga chiching na-compensate naman ng pulutan hehe. sya na malagket! dami nga ng alak naabutan pa nila arnel, richie at erick vhoi eh. kaya umuwi na naman tayo ng bangag, bilang cherman.

mukha talagang walang kasawa-sawa 'tong si pareng raffy na ayain kame sa UNO event para taubin ang mga alak dun. sabagay, pag natira yun mapapanis. as usual, the beautiful faces were all around citrus in glorietta, ung dating v-bar. at hulaan kung sino ang diyos for the night: si mike na kaopisina ni errol. bakit kamo? aba'y sukatin mo namang habang nakatambay sa harap ng bar nakapagpapiktyur ng solo flanked by two of the foxiest viva hotbabes around na sina jennifer lee at gwen garci! call it stroke of luck. but i would prefer it a product of charm, hehe. oks ba mike? bati-bate na yan sa bahay!!!

ryt now, as the red bull players are shoowered ang pied on sa bulagaan, sana me laro kame mamayang gabi para makapag-change oil at maganda pakirmadam. kasi, ang hindi gumagalaw ay madaling pumapanaw ...
